Hood Athletics - Baseball
Hood Athletics is a national youth baseball program that provides a community where athletes of diverse backgrounds are provided an equitable opportunity to follow their passion for sports.
In 2023, Hood Athletics won the 13U PG PNW Super Regional NIT Champions and were the 14U West Spring Training Champions in 2024.
LJ Henriquez - Snowboarding
LJ found his passion in snowboarding at the age of 3, and has not looked back since. He’s quickly taken the snowboard world by storm, finishing in the top 3 in multiple events over the past two years and even competing as the youngest rider in last season’s Dew Tour Men’s Snowboard Super Streetstyle.
On Thursday, LJ added another medal to his collection taking home the gold in Men’s Open Class Slopestyle at the USASA National Championship in Colorado.

With 75+ D1 college alumni in the last 8 years, California Stars is a program known for developing student athletes and sending players to the next level. Recognized as one of the best independent programs in the country and the most productive AAU organizations, Cali Stars provides a platform for exposure and preparation to compete at the highest levels of basketball.
Tudela Futbol Club Los Angeles - Soccer
The Mission of Tudela Futbol Club Los Angeles (TFCLA) is to provide elite player development with confidence and character-building resources to female athletes, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Established in 2017 with four teams and a vision to create and build a club that provides accessible, elite training to girls, the club currently has 300 players and 25 competitive teams.
Kris Stiles - Golf
Kris has been playing golf since the age of five—gaining national recognition for his play as well as earning a scholarship to San Jose State University.
He was named to the inaugural Black College Golf Coaches Association (BCGCA) All-America team and is a two-time Academic All-Mountain West selection.
Marley Franklin - Golf
Marley Franklin is from Los Angeles, California and attends school at Howard University. As part of the women's golf team funded by basketball star Steph Curry, Marley was named NEC Rookie of the year in her freshman year.
Howard's first-ever major award winner, Marley produced three top 10 showings, led all NEC rookies with a 76.5 stroke average and tied for 24th overall at the NEC golf championships.
Ivan Barahona - Golf
Ivan is a sophomore at San Jose State University and plays on their D1 Men’s golf team, leading the Spartans in stroke average at 68.44. Ivan carded a top 20 Southern California Amateur Championship (16th) and finished third in Stroke Play and made it to the Round of 16 in Match Play at the 2023 California Amateur Championship.
A three-time all-league selection in high school, he was the Low Amateur at the 2020 Golden State Tour, earned the Mission League MVP, was named to the Daily News All-Area team and named Daily News Newcomer of the Year. He was previously a finalist in the CIF SoCal Regional Championship.
Koa Seymour - Golf
Koa Seymour, a California native, has shown exceptional talent on the golf course, consistently shooting under par and earning a ranking in the top 100 nationwide for her graduating class of 2025.
Koa is currently exploring college options while having her sights set on a professional golfing career in the future. Beyond her personal aspirations, she is also passionate about growing the game of golf for younger athletes, seeking to inspire and empower the next generation of players.
Finnegan Markland - Motocross
Finnegan Markland aka “Fast Finn” is a 12 year old motorcross and supercross athlete who has been riding since he was 8 years old. His passion to compete began when his father took him to Angels stadium to watch Supercross for the first time. This started his journey to follow in the footsteps of James Stewart, Chad Reed and Cole Steely.
Finn has won over 20 races locally and been on the podium for several regional races. His goal this year is to break the top 3 on a national level.
